NEW!  PUPPY &  DOG TRAINING CLASSES

Does your new puppy or dog need to learn (or relearn) crate training or potty training? Do you want to eliminate behaviors such as jumping or demand-barking? Our two new “manners” classes address many common behavioral issues, while promoting responsible pet ownership. Behaviors covered include: loose leash skills, recall, polite greetings, leave it and focus/impulse control.

Family members may attend with the puppy/dog but an adult must accompany the dog each week as their handler.

ABOUT OUR TRAINER

Certified Dog Training, Cindy Blair (M.Ed, CPDT-KA, FFCP, CPSTI, CWCPT) is the owner of New Hope Dog Training LLC www.newhopedogtraininggr.com.  She started working with dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments at Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary in 2013. While there she realized that many shelter dogs just needed some basic manners training and structure. She became a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) because she wanted to help improve dogs’ behaviors before their owners become frustrated, which can lead to making the difficult decision to surrender their dog to a shelter. She has worked as a full-time trainer since 2018 and has enjoyed seeing dogs of all ages make progress in her classes while building a strong relationship with their owners.
