American Sign Language (15-Adult)

ASL 1: This basic introductory American Sign Language course is for those who wish to better communicate with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. Participants will learn basic conversational vocabulary and grammatical structure of the language, as well as culturally significant information that is essential in communicating with, and respecting the Deaf community. This is an opportunity to learn a useful new communication skill.

(12-14 year olds may register with an adult who is also taking the class)
