SPECIAL PICKLEBALL REGISTRATION NOTES:

Individuals may now sign up for only one session of pickleball to ensure everyone who wants to play, has the opportunity.  If you would like to be considered for an additional night, please email us at NVcomEd@nvps.net with your name and phone number, and what additional night you wish to be on the waitlist for.  Limited spots available. Pickleball sells out quickly so register early!

Monday Pickleball sessions are designed for the more advanced players who are ready to push their limits and engage in some higher-level play. Join a dynamic and skilled community where every match is an opportunity to showcase your expertise and improve your speed and skill to elevate your game. Players should be proficient in all aspects of the game, including consistent serves, returns, volleys, dinks, and third-shot drops.

Tuesday Pickleball sessions are for those who want to enjoy the comradre of other pickleballers in a non-competitive environment. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, making it simple to pick up. So grab a paddle (we'll have some available if you don't) and get ready to meet new people and enjoy some lighthearted competition. We ask that you NOT register for this night if you are a competitive intermediate player. True Beginners should read the rules of the game and watch videos before attending, then this community of pickleballers will continue to teach you as you play. Our friendly atmosphere ensures you'll feel comfortable and supported as you learn the basics.

Wednesday Pickleball sessions are designed for players who have a grasp of the fundamental rules and strokes and are looking to elevate their game. Join a dynamic group of players for more challenging rallies, strategic play, and competitive fun! In these sessions, you will engage in a slightly faster paced play with more consistent rallies and enjoy competitive games against players of similar skill levels. Players should be able to sustain a short rally so that players improve their techniques, learn new strategies, and are somewhat challenged in a supportive and engaging environment. We ask that you not register for this night if you are an advanced competitor or new beginner.

SUMMER OUTDOOR ZUMBA: (DONATION BASED)

Our summer Zumba will again meet OUTDOOR at Crossroads Middle School parking lot (tennis court side of the building) on Monday evenings at 6pm from June 9 thru Aug 11, 2025. We will move indoors at the Fitness Center should there be rain or inclement weather. This is a “donation based” class and we choose a community charity to donate the weekly proceeds to.

SUMMER INFO: ($10)

Sand Volleyball only is offered in the summer. Pre-registration is required to be added to the drop in roster and registrants are asked to help with court set up if needed. An email will be sent the week prior to the start date with details on where the courts are located, what to wear/bring, and who to contact should you have questions.

FALL AND WINTER INFO: ($50)

Time is listed at 7:30 PM - 10:15 PM.  HOWEVER start/end time may be altered to match gym availablility. You will be notified via email with the exact start/end time the week prior to the session beginning.

Meet at Highlands Middle School gymnasium at the start of the program to help set up nets, etc.  At the end of the evening participants are also asked to put nets and balls away when they are finished.

Coed Adult Sports:

These fun activities are a great way to get acquainted with other adults in our community. Teams are loosely formed each night to play against each other for a fun, active sporting experience.  There is no formal instruction with participants learning from eachother and practicing together. Everyone is welcome; singles, couples, empty nesters, or busy parents who need some adult time away.

Program Notes:

Most sessions do fill to capacity before registration closes. If this happens you will be placed on a waitlist and emailed should there be an opening.  Registrations may not be transferred or pro-rated if you are unable to attend any of the weeks.

Refunds are available up until 5 business days before the program begins. After this date there will be no refunds.

Most regular sessions have 10-15 potential dates but cancellations can occur when school is cancelled for weather or other emergency reasons. Registrants may be notified via email but we recommend checking weather cancellations on local news outlets.  We do our best to make up any cancelled dates but may be difficult because of facility availability.
